Bombay Sapphire is surely unique compared to other gins. Normally, the botanicals are boiled right in the spirit Bombay has created a Vapour Infusion process. 10 treasured botanicals like grains of paradise, coriander, cubeb berries, and almonds are set aside from the spirit in copper baskets and heated until the vapors are achieved and flavors are released. The end result is an aromatic fluid with high flavor content.
Vermouth is similar to a wine dating back to the mid-late 18th century Italy. Originally for medicinal purposes, the fortified wine grew its claim to fame as an aperitif. In the late 19th century it became a cocktail staple, being served in drinks like Negroni, Manhattans, and martinis. To create your own martini, place a cocktail glass in a freezer for about 10 minutes. In a shaker, add 1 part gin to 2 parts vermouth and fill halfway with ice. Stir energetically for about 20 seconds until chilled and strain into a glass. You can garnish with provided ingredients like an olive or an orange twist if you have one handy!
