Bottega Platinum Moscato
Bottega Platinum Moscato (also known as White Gold) starts off with hand-harvested grapes that are softly pressed in the winery. The wine is produced in the Euganean hills of Padua which is located in the Veneto region of Italy. The sparkling wine starts with fermentation in sainless steel tanks followed by a second process in sealed tanks for 30 days. This is known as the Italian Charmat method. Once the wine is ready, it is quickly bottled and ready to be delivered. The metallic bottle is not only gorgeous, but practical. The platinum coloring protects the wine from light sources – preserving its freshness and aromas.

The platinum bottle holds a brilliant and fine pale yellow sparkling wine with a lasting perlage. A pronounced nose of roses and hints of ripe peaches and apricots soon leads into pleasant and sweet flavors of candied apple and sweet peaches. It is followed by persistent bubbles and a long lasting finish. At only 6.5% alcohol, Bottega Moscato is excellent choice for any and every occasion. It is best enjoyed with friends with dinner and chit-chat. Moscato pairs well with lighter fare and a variety of desserts like fruit tarts, custards, and chocolates.
Bottega Platinum Moscato
Bottega was established in 1977 by Aldo Bottega. He was a master distiller for over 30 years and inherited the passion for wines from his grandfather. It was not until 1983 when Aldo passed and left the company to his children – Sandreo, Barbara, and Stefano – that the company would start to gain a reputation thanks to an innovative distillation method. This method resulted in a smoother, more delicate grappa. In the early 1990’s the production of Il Vino dei Poeti, a Prosecco sparkling wine, took the company into the wine market. During the autumn of 2001, Bottega Platinum Moscato was launched as a limited edition item and later introduced in the Duty Free shops of many large airports around the world.
