Airplane bottles, or as some may call them “nips,” are 50ml bottles of liquor that usually represent the normal 750ml size. Think of it as a sample of a liquor without the commitment to the entire bottle. These minis are often found on trains and – yep, you guessed it – airplanes. Their convenient size makes it practical in both storage and supply when the larger bottles are impractical or uneconomical.
