Pompei Gift Baskets offers a wide range of Champagne Gift Baskets. Picture yourself sipping some of our fine bubbly! Dom Pérignon had four exceptional periods where the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from Grand Cru vineyards were harvested at the perfect stage of intense ripeness. It is unfeasible to maintain a wanted ripeness for the grapes, since such variables like weather, can affect the entire crop. Dom Perignon has now become known to produce the finest vintage champagnes made from a single harvest. It’s prime years were 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2006. This many perfect vintages has not been seen in the 300+ years of Champagne harvest to date. The Golden Dom Champagne Gift Basket is wonderful for Father’s Day, weddings, and house warming. Belle Epoque is French for “Beautiful Era.” It was a period of Western European history that began towards the end of the Franco-Prussian War in 1871 and ended around the outbreak of World War I. This was the era of the French Third Republic and characterized by regional peace, optimism, and cultural innovations. It received its name after it became, in retrospect, a “golden age” in comparison to the horrors World War I was causing. The Beautiful Era Champagne Gift Basket is a wonderful engagement, new house, job promotion, or thank you gift for all alike!
Our Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Gift Basket is the best of the best. The hand-painted glass bottle has matching hand-painted crystal champagne flutes, which are almost just as valuable as the champagne itself. We’ve set these stunning items in a luxurious two tiered bottle carrier marked with hieroglyphics. Chocolate covered pretzels, nuts, and gourmet chocolates fill the voids in the basked, making it the ultimate upscale present.
Since they started in 1918, Perrier Jouet has continued its quest for a creative spirit and perfection. The rarity and quality of their products has been guaranteed since 1958, including a cork with the year of the vintage and approval seal. The hand-painted bottles of Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque were designed by Emile Gallé who was a huge part of the art nouveau movement in 1902. The flowers are Japanese anemones.
A mixture of chardonnays, pinot noirs, and pinots meuniers make up the blend of Belle Epoque. Temperatures in April in the vineyard felt like those of summer and the beginning of summer had a rainy start with cooler temperatures for that time of year. Luckily, a strong sun in August brought the grapes to full maturity. The grapes received an early harvest and let to a generous vintage. Once the fermentation process is complete, the liquid is aged over six years in Perrier-Jouët’s cellars. Master Blender Hervé Deschamps emphasized this cuvées unique character.
The 2006 release marks the fifth vintage in a row, which is a first in history for the champagne, where Dom Perignon has been rewarded for their dedication and commitment to produce the best vintages possible
In this posh gift basket, we have paired the most currant vintage with sweet chocolates, scrumptious cookies, and flavorful candies. Because of the rich notes of smoke, toasted almond and espresso, we also paired this champagne with rich gourmet spreads and crispy crackers. We managed to fit all of this inside of our metal tin that will accent any room it is placed in.
Dom Perignon will overwhelm your nose with an airy, bright, and pure bouquet – making this a glorious scent! The citrusy acidity will leave a mouthwatering impression on your taste buds, begging for another sip. The currant vintage is said to be just as flavorful if it was saved and open in 2031. But who can actually wait that long to take a sip of this magnificent champagne? Champagne should be enjoyed chilled either from an ice bucket or in the refrigerator. Before serving, place two champagne flutes in the freezer to ensure you receive the maximum flavor from Dom Perignon.
Two of Martini & Rossi’s wines have earned the marking that less than 1% of Italian wines are qualified enough to have: Asti & Moscato d’Asti. This refreshing bubbly is wonderful chilled which is why we decided to display this rewarded sparkling wine in a chic ice bucket! And how could you enjoy delicate flavors of peach, apple, melon, and grapefruit without glassware? You can’t! So we also provide you with the perfect champagne flutes to enjoy this youthful drink. Silky and smooth chocolates and truffles are the ideal finishing touch to a champagne that goes divinely with cream based items.
‘Mosto’ is the identification of the pressed juices that remain from the grapes that eventually becomes the base of the wine after fermentation. The grapes are usually harvested August through September and must be juiced quickly for optimum flavor. The Moscato grapes have produced some of the world’s most famous wine after being harvested from the sundrenched hills of Piedmont. These steep hills provide the ideal environment and habitat for the fruit. The low alcohol content of Martini Asti allows the desire of another toast to be fulfilled and the perfect touch of bubble to any mixed drink!
To enjoy this Asti, chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving or chill champagne flutes in freezer for about 15 minutes.

A monk and cellar master at the Benedictine Abbey in Hautvillers (north-east France,) Dom Pérignon pioneered a multitude of techniques for winemaking in the 1670s. Being able to deal with grape’s flaws, he was the first to coalesce the grapes to improve the overall quality of the finished product: wine. He captured the process of bottling champagne wines in order to capture the bubble and maintain their natural sugars. Pérignon also invented a technique to produce clear fluids from black grapes and introduced corks which were fastened with hemp strings soaked in oil. This kept the wines sparkling and crisp. A true pioneer of his time, Dom changed the champagne game.
Godiva currently has over 600 store front locations throughout the world, including the United States, Europe, and Asia. Founded in 1926 in Bussels, Belgium, the first chocolate boutique was opened by founder Joseph Draps in honor of the legend Lady Godiva. Lady Godiva was an Anglo-Saxon noblewoman from the 11th century until the 13th century. She rode naked, covered only by her long hair. A gentleman named Tom was struck blind or dead for watching her ride though the town, hence the name “Peeping Tom.”
Buying a new house, the birth of a child, or an engagement are all wonderful accomplishments – celebrate with a glass (or two!) of Veuve Clicquot (vuhv klee ko). Veuve is the French word for “widow.” Madame Clicquot, née Ponsardin, was a French business woman. She became a widow at age 27 and took over her late husband’s wine business. She became known at the “Grand Dame of Champagne,” hence the name Veuve Clicquot. The Perfect Match Champagne Gift Basket is a creative and unique gift basket for weddings, housewarmings, engagements, or closing a business deal.
Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut Champagne speaks for itself. This pale-yellow champagne has flavors of fresh apples and peaches with hints of vanilla. The scent of fresh bread dough and pecans make it an exceptional pair with poached prawns or during an elegant brunch. The complexity of this champagne prompted us to keep this basket clean and simple: A silver serving platter with two champagne flutes. This is a perfect ‘His & Hers’ basket because of the two bottles in comparison to one. You will receive one 750ml bottle of Veuve Clicquot along withone 375ml bottle as well.
Founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot-Muiron, the Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin French Champagne House specialized in producing premium products. This champagne house plated a significant role in constituting champagne as a notable drink throughout Europe. Veuve Clicquot is believed to have been the first modern champagne because of the method of which it is produced.
The Champagne House was family owned until 1963 where it was taken puplic and merged with Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessey in 1986. Appointed cellar master in 1985, Jaques Peters is the chief winemaker and has conducted an enterprising program since then to promote the grape sources, upgrade the vineyards, and ameliorate the production area and cellars.
