Ciroc Ultra-Premium Vodka is distilled from fine French Grapes, making it gluten-free. Most vodkas are crafted from grains. The process for Ciroc was inspired by centuries-old wine-making techniques. Master Distiller Jean-Sebastion Robicquet was born into a family of distillers – dating back to the 15^th century. Maison Villevert, his distillery, has been in his family for over half of a century. It’s based in Villevert, France which happens to be the renowned wine region of Bordeaux. Ciroc is distilled 5 times, with its final distillation being done at the historic Distillerie de Chavanceaux in the South of France. This final process gives Ciroc its distinctive flavor and exceptional citrus taste.

All of this distillation ensures the best flavors and high quality. The French grapes are distilled just as they were to be going to be used for wines. That eaux-de-vie is distilled in column stills an additional 4 times before the final step. This 5^th distillation is done in traditional, tailor-made copper pot stills. Jean-Sebastion used his distilling expertise, in addition to his skill as an oenologist he received in 1988, to craft Ciroc Ultra-Premium Vodka in 2003. He has since been recognized by the Great Council of Bordeaux Wines as the ‘Commandeau de Bordeaux.’ He received this prestigious award for his high-quality, honest, and superior products.
