• Local hand delivery (and/or Same Day Delivery) is available in South Hackensack, Hackensack, Moonachie, Little Ferry, Ridgefield Park, Bogota, Teaneck, Ridgefield, Carlstadt, Hasbrouck Heights, Wood-Ridge, and Maywood as long as items are in stock or a substitution is approved. For any town not listed, please call 1-888-272-0220 and speak to a concierge member to arrange delivery.

• Engraving takes an additional 3-5 business days, please plan accordingly.

• Pompei requires an adult signature on ALL packages containing alcohol. This is required by law and cannot be removed.

• We cannot “leave package on front porch/back door” if the basket contains alcohol. These packages require an adult signature and cannot be left unattended.
• We (Pompei) are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If a package is mishandled, a claim needs to be opened by us to FedEx. Only if the claim is approved will a refund be processed. These claims can take up to 30 business days.
• Packages going to Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico will be at an additional charge. There is an option during check out that will add the additional charge to cover shipping costs. If  this option is not selected, Pompei reserves the rights to update pricing accordingly with notification to the customer via e-mail.

• Change of address fee is $20 usd. Change of address includes missing/incorrect suite or apartment numbers or any changes made to the address AFTER the package has been shipped (i.e building number, Street to Avenue, Company Name)
• If you entered the incorrect address and request a change after the item is already shipped, you will inquire additional shipping fees. This is charged by FedEx. If the package requires an adult signature (anything with alcohol,) address corrections cannot be made. The package can either be held at the nearest pick-up location at no additional charge or the original package must be returned and reshipped.

• Purchaser is responsible for any return package fees. If a recipient refuses the package or it is never picked-up after 3 delivery attempts, FedEx will return the package to us. In this scenario, there are two options: 1) refund the difference minus shipping and handling fees. 2) reship the package at the purchaser’s expense with the additional return fee. Refunds will be less the original shipping, return shipping, original processing charge, and restock fee.

• If you would like to cancel an order that is already in transit, you (the purchaser) are responsible for all shipping and handling fees.

• Wine, champagne, and spirits are a perishable commodity. We (Pompei Baskets) are not responsible for items being damage from extreme hot or cold temperatures.

• We can NOT ship wine or spirits to the following states at this time: Alaska, Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Washington State, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

• Adult signatures are not a direct signature by your recipient. We are not responsible for packages delivered to the correct address and signed for by another individual. Again, we suggest delivering to a business address or a trusted building.
